Silent Night

Merry Christmas everyone . . .

Every Day is Christmas

I sometimes think we expect too much of Christmas Day. We try to crowd into it the long arrears of kindliness and humanity of the whole year. As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year. And thus I drift along into the holidays - let them overtake me unexpectedly - waking up some fine morning and suddenly saying to myself: "Why, this is Christmas Day!"

Temazcal

The massive storm dumping snow all over the east coast is manifesting here on the Maryland seashore as a gusty, rainy/icy/sleety, dreary masterpiece of winter wonder. For some reason, this song just seemed to catch the spirit of the day. So I post. Enjoy . . .

One

All men are children, and of one family.
The same tale sends them all to bed,
and wakes them in the morning.

Banana Pancakes

Life rolls on in its rollercoaster way, up and down and all around, but so does the spirit path, ever broadening and deepening, helping turn every day into an easy groove . . .

In the Now

Simply allow things to be as they are.

Back on the Train

Ah, Phish is back. I haven't yet been able to see them, but I'll get around to it. Here they are from their triumphant return at Hampton VA in March 2009. The usual smokin' jam, and killer light show. Enjoy . . .

Headed to this retreat down in Florida tomorrow, about an hour south of Tampa. Nice weather. Good spirit. Should be interesting. Be back Sunday evening . . .

Peace . . .
